3. New Russian website for Arizona needs volunteers.
AZCentral.ru was started by Andrey Tolkachev, former president
of the T-Bird Russian Club. He planned to translate the calendar
and news from RussianAZ.org into Russian on the new site but did
not finish the project. Now the site administrator is Jeff Burns
<info@azcentral.ru> who will start his studies at T-Bird --
Thunderbird School of global Management -- in May. Jeff wants to
start posting news and information in the Russian language now
and needs volunteer translators and news writers. Anything
submitted in Russian will also be posted in English.

The 2008 Arizona Refugee Resettlement Program Annual Conference is an

PVCC needs a substitute teacher for beginning Russian conversation I
(RUS115) for the following dates and times:
Tuesdays, September 12, 19 2006, 4:30 p.m. to 5:45 p.m.
Thursdays, September 14, 21 2006, 4:30 p.m. to 5:45 p.m.
The substitute must meet minimum qualifications for teaching Russian
as established by the Maricopa Community Colleges, which include:
1) a Master's degree with a major in Russian or 2) any master's degree
plus either 24 upper-division and graduate credits in the study of
Russian OR 18 graduate credits in the study of Russian from an
accredited American university (or the equivalent). If you currently
teach Russian or have taught Russian for any of the 10 Maricopa
Community Colleges, you are probably qualified. If you have a
teaching certification to teach Russian from the State Board of
Directors for Community Colleges of Arizona, you most likely are
qualified.
