4. VOLUNTEER: Translator Needed, Free trip to Kazakhstan

Filled by Russian speaking fireman from Tucson.
But translators will be needed when Kazakh guests arrive.

The Tempe Fire Department is planning a trip to Kazakhstan
(whose primary language is Russian), and is seeking a
college student volunteer to translate during the event.
Airfare, hotel, and food will be paid for by the department,
but we cannot provide a salary. The trip is scheduled for
August 2 - 16th, 2008.
 
During the trip, the volunteer will be traveling with Fire
Department members to various regions of Kazakhstan, and
will attend meetings and demonstrations to translate as
needed. The purpose of the trip is to exchange fire and
water rescue related information and plan for future
exchanges in 2009. The volunteer will also attend social
events and need to provide official interpretation of fire
department related information in some cases.
 
Potential volunteers will be interviewed by personnel
going on the trip, in addition to a Russian-speaking representative
to evaluate volunteers' level of fluency.

Two 18 year-old Russian students from Barnaul, Altai Krai, Russia,
will be house guests in Chandler this summer (June-Aug). They seek

5. Take a suitcase to Moscow in May or early June for $40

I have clothes for 2 young boys in Republic of Mari El, east of
Moscow 400 miles (650 kilometers). If you are not going to Mari El,
then a friend will meet you at the airport in Moscow or anywhere
in Moscow to pick it up. The suitcase has wheels, weighs 20 pounds,
and size in inches 20x16x10 (centimeteres 50x40x26). Inside will be

Russian translator(s) with large vehicle (van or SUV) needed
to drive 3 Russians and 8 dogs (5 are small dogs),
to and from an international dog sports event in Scottsdale at
